I’ve yet to find a location to hang the Doorknob from Alice in Wonderland that wifey gave me a few years back for Christmas. Maybe I can put it in my office somewhere, or just hold off and find a spot on a shelf for it. Nonetheless, it is an awesome piece of “art”, and very limited (only 1,000 made).

If you hadn’t noticed, I haven’t been out taking pictures much. I’m recycling some older pictures to fill up my Project 365 posts, but at least something is being put up! This one is from our Austin, TX trip this past fall to see UCLA v Texas. We showed up WAY to early on gameday, and walked down to 6th Street where the Pecan Festival was ongoing. None of the bars were open it was so early, so we strolled around for a bit until about 11AM when stuff started opening up. Can’t remember the name of this bar, but they had a dancing Elvis on the wall, and every NCAA football you could ever want to watch on.

After we killed our first orchid (it’s not officially ‘dead’ yet, just on it’s last limbs) wifey and I decided to try again. So here we have Orchid 2.0. We even bought orchid food for this one in hopes of keeping it alive for more than a few months.

These will be the tough days for this challenge. Mid-week, busy at work, errands to run, workouts to finish, and little time to think about a photo for the day. I think I was able to grab one that optimized how I felt at the time: sitting on the couch, next to wifey, watching ‘Sherlock Holmes’ from Netflix, drinking a Crown Royal and Diet Coke. Nights like these can be good, very good. (BTW, ‘Sherlock Holmes’ started slowly, but finished well. Quite entertaining as a whole)

Man has it been chilly in HB the last week or so! So cold today that we had the heat on pretty much all day. Unfortunately, it’s one of those wall heaters that really doesn’t do much heating. Please, let the cold subside soon.
