  • Greatest Lakers devotee right here. From the time Magic Johnson was with the Lakers, till the Kobe days, I’ve been a rooter. Zero of that bandwangon bull from me! I knew they would take the championship this year. Two years consecutively. Can anyone even call that destiny? I think whoever calls that luck is out of their judgment. Lakers are the champions, and will forever be the stars. Specific reference to Most Valuable Player Kobe Bryant. Felicitations Lakers!

  • Yea, the Superband construct of NBA Teams has a uneven record of success. Wilt, Jerry and Elgin advanced in one case. And The Laker’s Big 4 experimentation faded with Malone’s knee. Boston’s Big 3 gained one championship and came close this year, but it establishes that there are no more guarantees. Only 1 ball to go around, and a lengthy season in which egotisms still have to get soothed and managed. LeBron and D-Wade are not like Kobe-Pau in terms of how their positioning on the court suits with basketball game theory. Kobe and Pau is a easier driving in terms of court spacing and purposes to be played.
